Tony Steward to Clemson - Linebacker Tony Steward, the No. 9 overall player in the ESPNU 150, had been torn between Clemson and FSU since the middle of the spring, and on Wednesday morning he chose Clemson.
"Next year I plan on attending Clemson University," he said on ESPNU. "I just felt like it was the right place for me."
Steward said the biggest challenge in his decision was his family, which lives in Florida. This was a huge get for Clemson, which is coming off a losing season, and another impressive job by coach Dabo Swinney and his staff.
